Proposal details

This document guides project managers in preparing Construction Administration consultant assignments that include requirements for specialized inspection of fabrication and erection of various steel and aluminum structures and coating inspection of structural steel. As applicable, parts of this document may be copied into the terms-of-reference for Contract Administration consultant assignments. The document also includes sample terms for reference.

This document is intended to be complimentary to the Construction Administrative Inspection Specification (CAIS). Where any inconsistency may exist between this document and the CAIS, the CAIS takes precedence.
