Proposal summary
We want to update the Prompt Payment Administration Manual due to the proposed changes to NSSP CMO0008 which amends the OPSS.PROV 100- MTO General Conditions of Contract. With this, there are update requirements to the administration of payments due to recent Construction Act Amendments that were approved under Bill 216 and Bill 60. The changes in the manual are due to the Construction Act Amendments requiring changes to OPSS.PROV 100 – MTO General Conditions to align with the Act, as amended. |

Prompt Payment Administration Manual is being updated with the following:
• Update to Construction Act amendment history
• Revision to specification references and Construction Act clauses
• Clarification on timelines during the payment process
• Revision to Proper Invoice requirements
• Removal of incentive, disincentive and quality assurance references
• Removal of WBCMS reference and replacement with CMS reference
