Construction Administration Inspection Specification ( CAIS) 100

CAIS 100 – is being updated with the following:

•  CAGC 2.0 Project Management, language modified to include provisions for baseline schedule to align with GC language for Critical Path Schedules.
• CAGC 3.04 – Highway Maintenance Transfer Agreements, clarification on who to contact, process, and reference document added.
• CAGC Section 4.0 – Time management, is partially restructured to follow better flow of critical path schedule submissions and align with revised MTO GC language for review of schedules and issuance of the Permission to Start Work.
• Guidance on administrative requirements for Abnormal Weather and Work Directives have been added to Section CAGC
• 5.0 – Contractor Payment and Change Management.
• GACG 7.0 – Quality Process Management, a subsection for Deficient Materials is added.
• CAGC 7.11 – updated warranty form submission timeline
• CAGC 7.12 – Subsection was added to provide administrative guidance on general warranty.
• CAGC 8.0 – Environmental Issues Management, headings added to environmental notification types for clarity.
• CAGC 9.0 Traffic and Issues Management, a subsection was added on administrative considerations for unlicensed/overloaded vehicles.
