Decision summary

One comment was received containing two parts. Comment was relevant and appropriate and will have response posted.

Decision details

Part one of the comment questioned the prohibition of the use of anchors on post tensioned bridge structures when no structure anchored configurations are included. The prohibition of anchors on post tensioned bridges is standard on all TCB drawings with anchors regardless of whether a structure-anchored configuration is available or not.

Part two of the comment one highlighted a pinning configuration that does not apply to Ontario highways, hot mix asphalt with no identified substrate. Configuration will be deleted from standard drawing. Asphalt over compacted granular base is specified and is standard on Ontario highways.
