From my multiple years of both driving northern Ontario highways and working directly in their construction I see the high safety value potential in this project from improving 2 lane highways without the unnecessary upfront and lifecycle overexpenditure of a full twining lane project where traffic volumes don't yet support a full divided highway. This 2+1 configuration would be a great addition into the Ontario network.
