Proposal details

The updates include following items:

-Incorporated SP 109S59.

-Updated references.

-Slight wording changes to match upcoming S6-25.

-Pre-installation verification and bolting procedure requirement with the erection submission

-Changes to submission requirements from 3 hard copies to electronic PDF format.

-Allow direct substitution of Grade A325, 7/8” bolts when Grade A325M, M22 bolts have been specified.

Included the requirement that bolt assemblies used with ACR exterior plate girders specified to receive a partial coating of the inside face shall be Type 3

-Included language to prohibit punched holes

CAIS 906 updated to incorporate above items as required
