A new Structural Standard Drawing has been developed to support a sign panel of size 3.9m x 7.6m.

Proposal details

The Structural Standard Drawings (SSDs) have been developed to support an extra-large sign panel of Size 3.9mX7.6m. The current MTO’s non-breakaway sign support structures are not designed to support this size of sign panel, therefore a new standard has been developed to support the panel safely and adequately. The design of this sign support structure meets the current version of CSA S6-19 and the latest CAD standards.
