Proposal details
As per MTO Memo: SCB-SO-2021-03 regarding the change to 500 MPa Steel Reinforcement, all contracts tendered after April 1, 2024, shall specify 500W reinforcing steel, and structural designs shall be based on 500 MPA yield strength.
This proposal covers the transition period to the 500W grade reinforcing steel, to specify the grade of steel through the item code used.
