This posting aims to seek comments and inputs from industry stakeholders on the newly proposed Cross Slope Tolerance specification before implementing in the ministry’s Contract Preparation System.


Acceptance criteria for hot mix asphalt (HMA) is expanded to include crossfall requirements. The process to measure crossfall is described and tolerances defined to compare measured versus design crossfall values.
