Energy Attenuator, End Terminal, Steel Beam Energy Attenuating Terminal (SBEAT), Next Generation Terminal (NGT) System
The NGT Terminal is a Steel Beam Guide Rail (SBGR) terminal system that was successfully crash tested to meet the AASHTO Manual for Assessing Safety Hardware (MASH) Test Level 3 (TL-3). The NGT Terminal is proposed for implementation as a Steel Beam Energy Attenuating Terminal (SBEAT) for use on highway construction projects.
