After seven years of piloting the new CPR (Contractor Performance Rating) System and following consultations with ORBA and ACEC-ON, MTO is implementing the new CPR for use in the 2026 construction season. MTO will communicate training sessions separately
Proposal details
The New CPR includes conversion from subjective to objective scoring, Form B’s have been eliminated and replaced with a simplified referencing system, simplified evaluation questions: Yes/No, check boxes, lists, deducting points rather than adding and all contracts will start with 100 points, and reduction in user error through automation of processes.
