Proposal summary

OPSS 941 has been drafted to replace SSP 599S22 and updated to refer to OPSS 1355 for standard precast concrete requirements and other changes. As part of the specification publication process, Structures Office Foundations Section and EMO Concrete Section are posting the draft specification for external stakeholders’ consultation prior to publication in November 2025.

Proposal details

The new specification covers the requirements for construction of MSE retaining wall (previously called RSS wall). It is accompanied by the CAIS and CDED. We are consulting on the entirety of the specification and related documents.
