Proposal summary

OPSS 740 has been updated to refer to OPSS 1355 for standard precast concrete requirements and other changes. As part of the specification publication process, Highway Design Office and EMO Concrete Section are posting the draft specification for external stakeholders’ consultation prior to publication in November 2025.

Proposal details

The new specification covers the requirements for cast-in-place and precast concrete barrier. It is accompanied by the CAIS and CDED. We are consulting on the entirety of the specification and related documents.
