Decision details
The comments pertained to several aspects of the EcoPoste small sign support, particularly aspects such as the internal reinforcing steel bars, sign board material requirements and crash testing. A number of minor discrepancies and inconsistencies on the draft standard drawings were noted and corrected as necessary.

Public comments were received and responded to. No drawing changes were made necessary as a result of comments received.

Proposal details
Thrie beam structure connection – Five new MTODs for a new, non-proprietary thrie beam transition between steel beam guide rail and a concrete parapet wall. Long-span structure connection – Four new MTODs for a new, proprietary thrie beam transition between steel beam guide rail and a concrete parapet wall. Reduced deflection steel beam guide rail – Three new MTODs for a new, non-proprietary reduced deflection steel beam guide rail treatment. Guide rail treatment uses a continuous hollow structural steel tube in place of offset blocks between posts and W-beam. Ram Shield steel beam guide rail – Two new MTODs for a new, proprietary blockless steel beam guide rail system. Replaces existing ACP Sentry guide rail system which is no longer available. Ecoposte sign support – One new MTOD for a new, proprietary small sign support. Telespar small sign support – One new MTOD for a new, proprietary small sign support. OPSS 721 – Update to OPSS to introduce a new tender item for adjustment and rail replacement for existing steel beam guide rail with steel posts. Also introducing a new tender item for proprietary steel beam guide rail post cover. CAIS 721 – Administrative update to reflect changes to OPSS 721.
