CAIS is updated for OPSS 308, July 2023. It updates various administrative and inspection activities related to the submission, equipment, material, application rates, field verification of application rate, interlayer shear strength testing and lot/sublot size.
Proposal details
This CAIS updates activities related to field verification of tack coat application rate by using a newly developed LS-325 procedure and appropriate reporting forms (PH-CC-325 and/or PH-CC-326), as applicable to analyzing the interlayer shear strength testing results; and activities related to submission requirements are clarified and submission of tack coat distributor calibration is required; and activities related to lot and sublot sizes and interlayer shear strength size testing.
