Proposal summary
The specification has been updated to provide improved fabrication & construction requirements for Precast prefabricated bridges/elements. The fabrication and construction tolerances have been introduced along with a few editorial changes to improve the flow of the text
Proposal details
This special provision has been updated, the major updates include:
1. The text is reorganized in some sections for clarity of intent and clear description.
2. A new table of the Erection tolerances has been added in tabular form for various element types.
3. We have addressed the concern regarding the coring requirements of Partial Deck Panels by adding separate requirements.
4. The definition of the assembly plan has been introduced. The submission requirements of the assembly plan & associated working drawings have also been added. The reason for this update is to provide clear Fabrication & construction requirements for Precast prefabricated bridges/elements
