Proposal summary

The NGT Terminal is a Steel Beam Guide Rail (SBGR) terminal system that was successfully crash tested
to meet the AASHTO Manual for Assessing Safety Hardware (MASH) Test Level 3 (TL-3). The NGT
Terminal is proposed for implementation as a Steel Beam Energy Attenuating Terminal (SBEAT) for use on
highway construction projects.

Proposal details

This is part of the ministry’s ongoing efforts to implement roadside safety hardware products that meet crash
test requirements of the AASHTO Manual for Assessing Safety Hardware.
