Proposal summary

We are proposing:

  • •The updated costs for referee testing. This update is to inform the industry of the updated costs of referee testing for the contracts containing the SSP.

•In addition to the two Owner representatives permitted, the Owner may appoint a referee inspector to audit the referee services and the referee laboratory premises, either remotely or in-person.

Proposal details

This posting aims to seek feedbacks from industry stakeholders on the following key changes:

1.The costs for referee testing are updated in consideration of inflation and increased costs of labours and materials. Referee tests are updated to be in line with QA testing. these updates are to ensure that referee testing is prioritized and streamlined to facilitate contract administration.

2.The Owner may appoint a referee inspector to monitor the referee services to ensure the delivery of quality and reliable testing to all observing parties. This oversight may include verification of the observation process, equipment status, communication practices, adherence to test procedures, reporting completeness and accuracy, and any other aspects necessary to confirm that the referee services meet the expectation of consistency and integrity.
