Proposal summary

Three new Specifications OPSS 960, OPSS 1805 and OPSS 1863 are being posted for review and comments.

Proposal details

With input from industry stakeholders, MTO’s Structures Office has developed updated construction and material specifications for Buried Corrugated Steel Structures & their supplementary documents. The new specifications include:
OPSS 960 – Construction Specification for Buried Corrugated Steel Structures
OPSS 1805 – Material Specification for Corrugated Steel Structural Plate
In addition, a supplementary specification, OPSS 1863 – Geomembrane, has been developed. The use of a geomembrane over buried structures is recommended to enhance durability and overall performance.
