Clause 1350.07.04.02 Discharge Time
When concrete or OGDL is transported by means of non-agitating equipment, discharge shall be completed within 30 minutes after introduction of the mixing water to the cement and aggregates.
30 minutes for OGDL is too narrow of a window, if there is any traffic, the trucks will be late. OGDL doesn't have a strength requirement and even if it did, it would be in the 1-5 MPa range at 7 days. It is a stabilized granular, it is not expected to have significant structural capacity. Even at 1 MPa it stronger than a Granular base. The structural layer coefficient is in the range of 0.2-0.27 (CPTechcentre Guide for FDR) but in the design manual we only use 0.14 for PC stabilized OGDL.
